The White House announced a new deferred action program that will provide employment authorization for millions of people currently in the United States without valid immigration status, removing the imminent threat of deportation.
The 2015 Deferred Action Program will be available for the following people:
Requestors will have to pass criminal and national security background checks, pay their taxes, and pay a request fee.
Request forms and applications for work permits are NOT yet available and will not be available until early 2015.
